DESCRIPTION OF WORK Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Turf Equipment Technician oversees a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. The program includes repairing of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The Turf Equipment Technician properly communicates any needs of problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the Golf Course Superintendent and/or the Assistant Superintendent.
