“New” National Golf Course

Reynolds Lake Oconee is a 117-hole golf and lake community located in Greensboro, GA between Atlanta and Augusta. Founded in the late 1980’s, Reynolds now consists of six world-class golf courses. The “New Golf Course” is combining the National Bluff 9 with a brand new 9 holes. The Tom Fazio design will traverse the rolling topography of Reynolds Lake Oconee and feature Bermuda grass greens, tees and fairways. The New 9 is currently in the earthmoving phase, with grow-in scheduled for the spring of 2024. The existing Bluff nine will undergo extensive renovations beginning in the fall of 2023 that will include newly surfaced greens, rebuilt bunkers, tree removal and irrigation upgrades. The right candidate for this position should have experience in the grow-in and construction phases of golf course development. Additionally, the best candidate must have a strong work ethic, be highly organized/detailed and be a team oriented professional.

The Assistant will work closely with the Superintendent, 2nd Assistant Superintendent, Management Staff and crew to facilitate and execute all operations necessary to provide excellent playing conditions for our Members and guests. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the golf course including but not limited to: course setup, crew management, crew training, intensive water management, monitoring and applying chemicals, projects and all other agronomic practices necessary to maintain pristine playing conditions.
