Equipment Manager

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other related machinery.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnosing and repairing equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations, taking appropriate measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent and other team members to prioritize equipment needs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and well-equipped maintenance facility.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to golf course equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical education or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (3 years) as a Golf Course Equipment Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems commonly found in golf course maintenance equipment.
• Proficiency in using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
