Assists with the overall upkeep and maintenance of the Golf Course (i.e. seeding, irrigating, mowing, fertilizing and landscape planning).
Maintains accurate records on computerized irrigation practices, chemical treatments and all equipment maintenance.
Informs Golf Course/Grounds Superintendent of any problems that may arise. Ensures that all equipment is maintained and operated according to departmental safety standards.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and maintain a clean driving record. Must have driver's license on their person at all times.

Must be 18 years of age or older. Previous Golf Course and Irrigation experience required. Prefer individual with 2 years experience as an assistant.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
