Irrigation Technician - Stonegate Golf Club

Stonegate Golf Club is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our Golf Course Maintenance team!

The Club, located in Kissimmee, FL, prides itself on a 36-hole combination golf course and three food and beverage venues, The Grill, a fun sports bar, and Mosaics which offers a classic country club atmosphere and the Marketplace Bistro. All set among 100-year old oak hammocks, lush greenery, peaceful waterways and streams.

$16 an hour

Job purpose

The irrigation technician is responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation systems. In addition, the person is required to report any irregularities in the turf quality to the Superintendent.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the upkeep, repairs and maintenance of the irrigation systems.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the irrigation parts room and maintains inventory of the
• supplies.
• Waters and fertilizes tees, greens and fairways.
• Operates irrigation heads in dry areas requiring more attention.
• Completes purchase orders and submits them to the Superintendent for authorization.
• Assists the Assistant Superintendent in managing the team members.
• Maintains a clean golf course and maintenance complex.
• Must be able to perform the duties of an Equipment Operator.
• Demonstrates courtesy to all Members and guests at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested.
