| The Irrigation Technician II, under the supervision of the Senior Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation system(s) for the University of Louisville Golf Club. The irrigation technician is required to report any irregularities in course turf quality to the Senior Assistant Superintendent.

High school diploma and two years of related experience. Must have valid driver's license and be insurable by University's carrier to drive vehicles. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Employment physical will be required. Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system, including automatic valves and controllers, and working knowledge of various types of pumps and pumping systems. Understanding of agronomy, turfgrass science and the rules of golf. Grade 3 Min 18.56, Mid 23.23, Max 27.85 |
