Position responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and technical expertise on various projects to ensure timelines/deadlines are met while exceeding Membership expectations for course conditions.
  •    You will be a part of all aspects of golf course maintenance
  • General maintenance opportunities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • calibration
    • product application
    • course set up
    • irrigation
    • drainage
    • equipment operation
    • equipment maintenance
  • Pesticide and fertilizer responsibilities will include:
    • Pesticide application
    • Fertilizer application
    • Product inventory
    • Documentation of pesticide and fertilizer applications
  • Monitor the grounds for disease and pest infestations
  • Working cooperatively with the Golf Course Superintendent and other key staff members to coordinate, schedule and oversee the maintenance of a 27-hole golf course and practice facility.

Knowledge and Skill Set:

  • 1-2 years golf course maintenance experience
  • AIT’s will be given strong consideration
  • Supervise and oversee staff, equipment operation, ground maintenance needs and fertility/fungicide program.
  • Train and supervise a team of seasonal associates while ensuring all safety protocols and policies are adhered to.
  • Contribute input into watering and irrigation cycles according to turf and plant requirements and help to oversee the repairs, maintenance, and designs of the irrigation, pumping and drainage systems. 
  • Must have current Ohio Pesticide License or be able to obtain license within 6 months.
  • Possess strong communicational skills along with strong problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to pass drug test.
