Assistant Golf Superintendent

Tired Creek Golf Course is located in Cairo, GA.  TCGC is a semi-private 18 hole golf course with 419 tees, fairways, rough, and Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermudagrass greens outlined with pine trees.

The Director of Golf/Golf Course Superintendent has the authority to add to, take from, or otherwise change the scope of responsibilities as necessary to properly manage the day-to-day operation of Tired Creek Golf Course. 

The Assistant Superintendent will be involved in all aspects of daily golf course maintenance, which includes the following but not limited to:

• Crew scheduling/supervision
• Irrigation system operation
• Pesticide/fertilizer applications with John Deere 2030A GPS sprayer, record keeping, and calibration
• Irrigation head and pipe repairs on Toro system
• Course set up, mowing, and aerifying areas of the golf course

Preferred Qualifications:

• Turfgrass management degree or certificate with experience in golf course maintenance 
• Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain

Pay dependent on experience.
