Responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day Isleta Eagle Golf Club’s and Isleta’s Lakes maintenance operations and personnel, focusing on ensuring the best possible playing conditions, personnel, and fiscal management while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests. Ensures employee and customer/player compliance and conforms to all Tribal, Federal, State, Pueblo of Isleta Regulatory, and Isleta Resort and Casino regulations. Trains operators in proper use of the equipment. Oversees and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation, sprinklers, clocks, reading meters, and drainage systems. Tracks daily records of maintenance activities such as chemicals applied, fuel consumption, grass seed used, etc. Works closely with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional to coordinate maintenance schedules, special events, and daily play requirements. Works closely with the Sr. Director of Recreation Services to coordinate maintenance schedules and special events. Orders supplies, materials, and equipment and ensures all tools and supplies are properly and securely stored. Conducts course inspections to ensure the best possible & safe playing conditions. Coordinates driving range maintenance with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional. Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement and overall safety. Greets players/guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive player/guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Gives basic instruction on all promotions and special events to staff and guests as needed. Assists in preparing and administers the Maintenance annual budget. Coordinates with other Isleta Golf Club personnel to accomplish approved projects in a timely and efficient manner. Leads and oversees daily construction repairs and maintenance. Supervises the repair and maintenance of all mechanical and motorized equipment. Monitors staff performance, behavior, and attendance to ensure adherence to all Isleta Resort and Casino SOPs and directs disciplinary action as warranted. Increases the Golf’s Maintenance Department effectiveness by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, promoting, training, coaching, counseling, assigns and delegates work, disciplining, reassigning, and terminating employees as needed. Schedules and plans shift schedules, calendars, communicates departmental and organizational goals, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Ensures department is properly staffed and motivated to exceed the Isleta Resort and Casino’s goals and objectives. Grants and/or denies PTO Requests as they pertain to scheduling. Conducts planning sessions and performance reviews. Enforces department standards, objectives, and policy that are in accordance with the Isleta Resort and Casino’s organizational mission. Maintains a skilled, trained, and motivated staff through continuous communication, feedback, and effective customer service training. Resolves, both, internal and external player/guest issues and problems in a timely and professional manner. Conducts annual evaluations of the employees Occasionally performs duties of subordinates and other duties as need. |
