Lakeview Golf Club is an 18-hole executive golf course located in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida.
Working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways and greens; seeding and maintenance practices for golf course turf; planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees; characteristics and proper use of various fertilizers and soil conditioners; herbicides and pest control methods and materials; drainage control methods; irrigation systems, including wells, pumps, and automatic controls
Thorough understanding of Golf Course Agronomy
Working knowledge of golf maintenance equipment
Must be able to manage 3-5 staff including scheduling and supervising maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment; prepare clear and concise reports; maintain effective employee and public relations.
Plans and schedules outside contractors and suppliers, as needed
Must Possess a valid driver's license
Requires current Florida state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator
Professionalism and organization skills required
Excellent verbal & written communication skills required
