Golf Course Superintendent

Bristol Oaks Golf Course is a privately owned public golf course in southeastern Wisconsin. It is an ideal location for golf  outings, weddings, and other events in the region, and is a  very popular stop for golfers from northern Illinois, as well as locally. The Superintendent plays a key role at the club, and will be compensated accordingly with bonuses and additional income potential beyond the base salary for "special projects. " The superintendent position is a full time year round position, however generous time off is given during the offseason to compensate for the heavier work load during the season.

 

Responsible for maintenance of 18 hole golf course and practice facility with 25,000 rounds and 40 outings annually

Assist with golf course equipment maintenance and repair

Perform repairs to irrigation system as needed to keep system up and running

Plan and implement chemical and fertilizer applications and cultural practices

Manage golf course maintenance staff to ensure productivity, and that the golf course playability and look meets expectations

Maintain and improve golf course appearance and aesthetics by refurbishing golf course accessories

Plan and maintain flower beds and containers

Operate within budget, and keep good financial records

Plan and make acquisitions annually to address equipment and other needs
