The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will assist in all aspects of maintaining the golf course, including grounds maintenance, equipment maintenance, and project coordination. They are responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the grounds department and will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent.

  • Assist in the supervision and direction of golf course maintenance personnel, including training, scheduling, and evaluation.
  • Assist in the implementation of the golf course maintenance plan and participate in the preparation of reports and maintenance records.
  • Work with the Golf Course Superintendent and Golf Course Manager to develop projects and programs to maintain and improve the golf course, including the irrigation system, greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, landscape beds, and clubhouse landscaping.
  • Help manage the maintenance of all equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working order at all times.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures for the grounds department.
  • Communicate with other departments within the golf club to ensure proper maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all supplies and equipment used and report any equipment failures or malfunctions in a timely and accurate manner to the Golf Course Superintendent.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Golf Course Manager.

 

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: $80,000-85,000
