We are searching for a leader with experience in multiple layers of operations including golf, food & beverage, sales and event planning, tennis and aquatics. JOB SUMMARY Serves as Chief Operating Officer of the club; manages all aspects of the club including its activities and the relationships between the club and its Board of Directors, members, guests, employees, community, government, and industry. Coordinates and administers the club's policies as defined by its Board of Directors. Develops operating policies and procedures and directs the work of all department managers. Develops and monitors the budget, including the quality of the club's products and services, and ensures maximum member and guest satisfaction. Secures and protects the clubJs assets, including facilities and equipment. Creates, implements, and manages ongoing member recruitment and retention strategies and drives continuous improvement that enhances the value proposition of club membership. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Experience in all aspects of country club operations, including budgeting and operational performance. Excellent organizational, communication and personnel management skills. Successful experience in leadership and independent contributors. Strong financial management acumen. Proven marketing and promotional skills for country club services. Proficient active listening skills. Working knowledge of computers and programs such as Microsoft, POS /accounting systems, Social Media accounts, and website editing. Ability to interact with members to resolve issues and concerns in a productive manner. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations for dining and banquets. Familiarity with golf course agronomics and maintenance procedures. Consistently demonstrates a positive, creative, resourceful "can do attitude". Track record of acquiring continuing education/ training. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with the Board of Directors to identify and reinforce the club's purpose, mission, vision, core values, and brand image. Sets standards and drives consistent operating procedures that exemplify the club brand and reinforce mission and vision. Responsible for human capital management and oversight including organizational alignment, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, compensation, performance evaluations, recognition, and development planning. Establishes annual operating and capital budgets for Board of Director approval. Manages finances and cash flow accordingly and ensures timely production and accuracy of financial reporting. Ensures planning, set up, and effective execution of Club events and activities that result in high member satisfaction and low attrition. Applies club policy, rules, and guidelines consistently and fairly. Manages membership categories and privileges as directed by the Board of Directors. Oversees development of an emergency action plan; ensures employee safety training and promotes overall safety awareness for all employees and members of the club. Ensure the club acts within local, state, federal, rules and laws at all times. Nurtures positive relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Represents the club across the industry and within the community/region.
