Cypress Golf Course Services is searching for a Shop Manager/Mechanic for one of our South Eastern Florida locations. This is a key position in the success and daily operation of the facility. The Shop Manager/Mechanic will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment. Applicants must have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity. This position will include but not limited to working on reel mowers, rotary motors, small engines and diesel engines. The selected individual will work with the site management team for the ongoing success of the facility and may be required to work in the field as required. This is a hourly position with general hours from 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekend mornings.
Functions Include:
The Inspection, service, and repair of golf course equipment
Maintains a preventive maintenance program within budget on all equipment, purchases repair parts and maintenance shop supplies.
Spot checks equipment for performance on the course

Skills and Requirements:
Mechanic experience with required tools for completing mechanic service
Reel and rotary mower experience
Computer skills, MS Word, Excel
Diagnostics and repairs related to diesel and small gasoline engine
