| Manito Golf & Country Club in Spokane, Washington is seeking to hire an Equipment Manager. Manito is an 18-hole private club established in 1922 with a 2023 operating budget of $1,400,000+. A new course maintenance facility with an excellent equipment maintenance area was completed in 2006. Since then, upkeep and improvements have been a high priority in maintaining a state-of-the-art equipment shop. The Equipment Manager is considered to be a key member of the golf course maintenance operation. The Equipment Manager will report directly to the Superintendent and will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment. Additional aspects of the position will involve budget tracking, evaluation of all preventive programs and current training programs for new employees. Provide recommendations concerning golf course equipment replacement and purchasing to the Superintendent. All tools and resources will be provided by Manito Golf & CC to ensure Equipment Manager has all necessary resources for success. The current Equipment Manager will be retiring and has done a great job ensuring all records are up to date, all equipment is in good working order, and all spaces are clean and ready for his successor. Starting wage of $70,000-$75,000 to be offered as hourly or salaried depending on candidate preference.
