Assistant Superintendent, Avila Golf & Country Club

Avila is a classic and traditional club built in 1980. The club offers golfers and sports enthusiasts the luxuries and anonymity of Country Club entertaining. The signature golf course was redesigned in 1988 by developer Bob Sierra of Avila and partnered with Jack Nicklaus.

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to make daily decisions.  This position is responsible for  but not limited to fertilizer and chemical applications, assigning daily tasks, planning and executing maintenance projects.  Also, the individual will gain experience off the golf course by interacting with sales reps, ordering products, checking payroll, hiring new team members, submitting invoices, constructing a budget, and ensuring the department stays on budget. Avila Golf & Country Club has committed itself to providing members with outstanding playing conditions.
