Equipment Manager

The primary focus of the equipment manager is to maintain the entire equipment fleet in good working condition and provide an exceptional quality of cut on a daily basis.  Other specific responsibilities include:

• Develop a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
• Perform on course equipment inspections
• Maintain detailed service records
• Place orders and manage parts inventory
• Assess equipment condition and make recommendations for replacement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines
• Knowledge of small engine repair
• Ability to implement and follow a maintenance schedule for all  equipment pertaining to the grounds
• Ability to diagnose some electrical issues
• Creative ability for effective solutions to problems
• Welding experience
•  Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more regularly 
•  Prior experience in turfgrass maintenance or related field a plus. 

Candidates from both within and outside of the golf industry will be considered.  The right candidate could be either highly experienced and immediately capable of fulfilling the aforementioned duties or less experienced with the ability to grow into the position with supplemental training
