Ocean Pines Golf Club is looking for an individual interested in growing and advancing in the turf industry. You will help lead our team through the daily course maintenance schedule in order to achieve our agronomic goals and create a better experience for our patrons.
Ocean Pines Golf Club is an 18 hole facility located in the Ocean Pines Community near Ocean City Maryland. We are currently designing a new irrigation system which will be installed in the near future. Our facility is primarily bentgrass on greens, tees, and fairways. We have bermudagrass tees and fairways for our driving range and practice facility.
We are looking for an individual that would help assist in every aspect of golf maintenance including but not limited to:
-application of chemicals and fertilizers
-irrigation operation and maintenance
-operating agronomic equipment such as verticutters, topdressers, etc...
-give guidance and work with our maintenance team
-budget management and project planning
-daily communication with golf operations about course conditions
