Naples Lakes Country Club is a Arnold Palmer signature course built back in 1999 originally. We are a private, member owned facility with 18 holes of championship golf. In the summer of 2017, the Arnold Palmer Design group came in to do a full restoration and redesign. Naples Lakes Country Club was one of the final courses Arnold Palmer himself had input on the design and is the only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course in Collier County. We do about 51,000 rounds annually with most of that coming in the heart of season January-April.
Education
Applicant must have high school diploma or GED and enrolled in a 2 or 4 year turf program.
Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will have the opportunity to gain knowledge from the Superintendent and his Assistants on a vast array of activities for the next step in your career.
Fertilizer and Pesticide Applications
Water Management and use of Moisture Meters
Irrigation Repair and Operation, Lynx Control, with E-Osmac Satellites
Daily Course Maintenance and Set-up
Morning Scouting
Cultural Practices
Drainage
Aerification/Verticutting

Additional Salary Information: Free off-site housing, meals during work hours, uniforms, golf privileges and working every other weekend.
