Tahoma Valley is located in Yelm, Washington and is a Par 71, 18 hole public course.
The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the successful operation of the Golf Course Maintenance Department.
The Superintendent works closely with the General Manager/ Head Golf Professional on maximizing the number of rounds of golf played by scheduling maintenance practices around Customer play and outings.
Essential Responsibilities
Meet with General Manager on a weekly basis.
Hire, train and supervise the grounds crew.
Supervise and assist with course equipment maintenance.
Supervise and assist with the mowing, fertilizing of tees, greens and fairways.
Supervise the safe operation of all equipment.
Experience Required
3 - 5 years in Golf Course Maintenance management
Pesticide Applicators License required.
Valid driver’s license
Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and recordkeeping as required by local, state and federal laws.
A working superintendent who will roll his sleeves up on a daily basis.
