| The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch is seeking a Head Equipment and Facility Technician to bring on to our team filling an integral part of the Agronomy operation. This person will be experienced in all aspects of equipment repair and facility operation; however, those attributes shall not overshadow the importance of being a positive and influential leader to the team. The Agronomy team is constantly serving the members and ownership and the expectation is for this leader to serve the Agronomy team by having the posture of hospitality and service to our team as well as other departments as needed.
Cordillera Ranch is a master-planned residential community located north of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. It offers residents on-site recreational activities and boasts 0.25-acre villas, 1 - 10+ acre estates, including valley-view, golf course, Guadalupe River frontage and hilltop home sites. Residents of the gated community can join The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch that feature seven resort-style clubs in one location – The Golf Club, The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and Athletic Club and The River Club. Cordillera Ranch is undertaken by Cordillera Ranch Development Corp., a subsidiary of Texas-based DH Investment Company.
The Golf Club consists of 18 hole Nicklaus Signature Course and Practice Facility. The course features Pure Distinction greens, Zeon Zoysia tees, fairways and TifTuf/Tif10 roughs. The practice facility offers a par 3 and a par 4 practice holes and a state of the art Performance Center. The club's current equipment fleet is John Deere and will transition to Toro in Spring of 2024.

Knowledge and Experience - 3+ Years experience in highly productive environment. Golf experience desirable, not mandatory. Club has training available. - Understanding of reel grinding and precision of cut specific to post cut appearance. - Technology and Theory involved with HOC, clip rates, bedknife attitude, reel dimensions. - Ability to diagnose and repair diesel, gas, and small engines. - Rotary equipment sharpening and after cut appearance. - Hydraulic systems in mowers, tractors, and chemical spraying devices. - Understanding of electrical systems in mowing equipment and course utility vehicles. - Experience with fans for course greens desired but not mandatory. - Ability to diagnose and resolve issues mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic.

A constant posture of "How Can I Help?" - Individual and Team Focus - someone who constantly works to improve themselves and the team. - Punctual and available.
Education - Trade or Vocational Technical school/college - 3+ Years Experience with high-end and/or private golf experience in lieu of education accepted. Mentorship under a highly regarded technician for 3+ yrs. - Professional Training in turf equipment seminars, camps, and equipment vendor schools desirable not necessary.
