| The Sagamore Club is looking for a Turfgrass Technician to join our team. The Sagamore Club is a Jack Nicklaus signature designed private 18 hole club that opened in 2003. The course includes USGA spec A-1 Bentgrass greens (3 Acres), Seaside II Bentgrass Fairways (36 Acres) and Tees (4 Acres), primary bluegrass rough (20 Acres), and Chewings/Red Fine Fescue Natives (70 Acres) The Turfgrass Technician reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and/or the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Preventative maintenance is a key aspect to the maintenance operation. This program includes the repairs of equipment, completing scheduled service intervals, ensuring quality of cut is to the highest of standards, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The technician communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the Superintendent and/or the Assistant Superintendent. The core group of equipment includes the following: Greens Mowers- (6) 2017 John Deere 220E walk mowers. New 14 blade reels installed in February of 2022 Triplex Mowers- (2) 2021 Toro 3300 TriFlexes which include 14 blade reels for greens, 8 blade reels for approaches/tees, and verticut reels Fairway Mowers- (3) 2021 Toro 3555 D , (1) 2009 Toro 5410 Grinders- 2021 Bernhard Anglemaster 4100 & 2021 Bernhard Express Dual 4100 |
