Summer Intern-possible full time employment

Job Duties include but not limited

Develop and carry out fertilizer/pesticide programs including granular and liquid

Plan irrigation order and assist in irrigation and pump repairs as well as adding additional coverage

Learn all mechanics involved with all golf course equipment

Assist in developing a yearly operating budget and a five year capitol budget

Sit in on golf course board meetings and city council meetings

Attend local and national superintendent meetings and shows

Assist in planning and carrying out golf course renovations, level tees, rebuild greens, add tee boxes, landscaping, cart path repair and additions etc.

You will work alongside the superintendent on a daily basis.  As the superintendent works as the mechanic, spray tech and irrigations tech, you will learn all facets of caring for a golf course instead of just learning a couple jobs like is the case in most internships
