W/Director of Golf Prepares Daily Maintenance routine
W/Director of Golf on all activities including but not limited to: Aeration/Topdressing/Spraying etc.
Procures Supplies (herbicides, pesticides/fertilizer etc.) within budget guidelines
Orders, Receives & Reconciles all products in timely manner
Ensures all Maintenance Equipment in Properly Maintained w/accurate maintenance records of all equipment
Ensures Maintenance Facility & Surrounding area is neat & clean
Hires, trains, schedules & motivates staff
Ability to lead a team and cultivate a friendly work environment
Ensures fine playing conditions & course set-up on daily basis
Recommends course upgrades or capital expenses to enhance facility
Member of GCSAA Preferred
GCSAA Member with Superintendent experience or 3 years' experience as an Assistant Superintendent or an Associates or higher college degree in Agronomy or Landscape Management. (Certified GCSAA Member a plus)
Must be licensed Pesticide Applicator & posses' knowledge experience to safely mix all chemicals used in maintenance of a golf course
Must be Proficient or become Proficient in all software applications currently in use & those that may change over or added over time
Positive attitude & professional appearance & demeanor in all situations
Reports to the Director of Golf
