Assistant Superintendent  Oso Beach Golf Course The assistant superintendent reports directly to the superintendent. Under the superintendents supervision the assistant directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course property. The assistant will be responsible for direct supervision of the crew and being in charge of managing a weekend staff. A self motivated individual, able to diagnose turf problems, and some mechanical knowledge is necessary to be a part of the agronomy team. Daily duties: Participate in planning and supervision of maintenance activities. Coordinate with mechanic to ensure equipment is ready for the next day. Participate in daily monitoring of putting green (moisture, disease) Observe and evaluate playin
