Horticulturist

Vesper Country Club is currently seeking to fill a Horticulturist position for the 2023 season. This position is a full time, seasonal position March thru November, with the possibility of it becoming a year round benefited position for the right candidate. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Work with superintendent and golf course staff to carryout daily tasks
• Care and maintenance of designated lawns and landscape beds
• Design and install both new and existing flowerbeds and planters
• Assist with golf course maintenance, including hand watering as needed
• Operation of power equipment as needed to fulfill duties

Requirements:

• 2+ years landscaping and design experience
• MA Pesticide license or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds frequently
• HS Diploma Required, Associates/Certificate preferred

Salary will be hourly based on experience. Expected hiring range is $20 to $25 per hour, with plentiful overtime available.
