2nd Assistant Superintendent is a position that assists in managing daily operations on the golf course and clubhouse grounds.  Daily responsibilities include fertilizer and pesticide applications, crew management, training new and current staff, record keeping, and regular maintenance tasks.

Applicants should be self starters, personable, and have the desire to move up in the turf industry.  This is a position that will provide the proper training to move up to a Senior Assistant Superintendent and/or Golf Course Superintendent at high level facilities.  

Prior golf course maintenance experience is preferred.  Knowledge of the game and ability to play is a plus.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Hourly position paying $18-$20/hr with an average of 3-5 OT hours a week throughout year. Full benefit package including health, dental, life, vision, 401K with 4% match, vacation and holiday pay, uniform allowance, cell phone reimbursement, fuel allowance, etc. TRCC is an equal opportunity employer.

Two Rivers CC is a private, equity owned country club in Williamsburg, VA. Located at the confluence of the James and Chickahominy Rivers in a gated community, this Tom Fazio 18-hole design is consistently ranked in the top 10 private clubs in Virginia. TRCC is a full service club with fitness, tennis, golf, restaurant, and a 100-slip deep-water private marina. Greens are 007 bentgrass that were renovated in 2012, Tees are a combination of Zeon Zoysia and 419 bermuda, fairways and rough are 419 bermuda. Full HDPE Rainbird irrigation system completed in 2022. Currently undergoing an in-house Better Billy Bunker renovation plan spanning the next couple years.
