Assistant In Training

Located at the foot of the Cascade Mountains, overlooking the Columbia River, in North Central Washington State, Gamble Sands is home to over 140 acres of pure fine Fescue turf. We are seeking motivated indiviudals to fulfill the role of Assistant in Training. In addition to the routine maintenance of our 18-hole Sands Course, and our 14-hole Short Course, we will begin construction on another full length 18-hole golf course beginning Spring of 2023.  The AIT will have endless opportunity to learn golf course maintenance skills and construction skills. All while working alongside the golf course superintendent and assistants. With much of  the upcoming golf course construction project being built in-house, the AIT will have the unique opportunity to put their stamp on a newly constructed course. Along with course maintenance, we also oversee all facility maintenance, including the construction of a new maintenance facility. This AIT position should be considered as a rehearsal for promotion to Assistant Golf Course Superintendent as our property doubles in size over the next few years.
