Seasonal full time position April 1st through October 31st
Regulates maintains and repairs prevailing Toro irrigation system to ensure adequate moisture for turf.
May provide functional and technical direction to other grounds staff
Replaces hardware as needed for Toro system
Operates equipment and vehicles to perform the duties of an irrigation specialist and equipment operator normal to a golf course
Maintains and troubleshoots pump intake pond
Assists with Superintendent to plan landscape projects
Digs trenches and installs pipes and lines as required
Samples the irrigation system with the aid of computer software
Can assist in routine maintenance checks
Troubleshoots and restores faulty parts
About Rolling Green Country Club
Rolling Green Country Club is a privately held 18 hole golf course along the banks of the Green River. Originally a 9 hole course, it expanded to 18 holes in 2008 with a brand new Toro irrigation system installed.
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) is dedicated to serving its members, advancing their profession and enhancing the enjoyment, growth and vitality of the game of golf.
