Seasonal Intern

Norwood Hills Country Club is seeking seasonal interns for the upcoming summer that will gain extensive knowledge of golf course maintenance practices as well as PGA Tournament experience. As a NHCC golf course Summer Intern you will report directly to the Director of Agronomy and Course Superintendents. You will participate alongside other crew members in numerous activities involved in daily golf course maintenance. This internship will provide you with the knowledge and work experience needed to become an Assistant Superintendent. Interns will be exposed to all aspects of golf course maintenance including crew management, conducting morning meetings, daily crew tasks, and operation of equipment. Interns will also have the ability to work with the Equipment Technician to learn about equipment maintenance and repair as well as shadow the Irrigation Technician. You will also learn how to calculate and calibrate all sprayers and spreaders used in fertilizer and pesticide applications. Other job duties and experiences:

• Record Keeping
• Lead small crews and oversee small scale projects on the course
