Students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in daily discussions about course management, projects, agronomic and cultural practices. With 60 holes of golf, students will experience all aspects of golf course maintenance such as, but not limited to, - Experience maintaining bentgrass on USGA and push-up style greens, and maintaining Poa Annua Greens - Staff management and training - Assist with SVCC water management program - Chemical/fertilizer applications and calibrations - Irrigation installation, troubleshooting and repair - Daily course management maintaining championship conditioning - Exposure to managing critical thinking at a multi course facility - Learn basic equipment management practices |
