JCPRD is seeking a proven leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high profile, and progressive environment to join its Gold Medal Team as JCPRD continues unprecedented growth through the development of new parks, trails, recreation facilities, programs and events. This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining a high quality golf course, equipment maintenance, course facilities, by performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in golf course maintenance work as well as other responsibilities related to improving the quality of the golf course. Employee will occasionally coordinate a small labor force of one or two persons as needed for special projects. The employee in this position may also perform maintenance duties on golf course irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed, including raising, lowering, and leveling of heads and checking for proper pattern distribution and rotation, repair ground with seed, sod, or plugs of new grass following irrigation repairs. Employee must have knowledge in the maintenance of vehicles, tractors, mowers, implements, and a variety of tools and equipment necessary to maintain the facilities and grounds of Heritage Park Golf Course, as well as ability to safely operate equipment. This position will assist in general golf course maintenance as required. Preferred candidates will have general experience with golf course operations, landscaping maintenance, and the ability to safely operate equipment used for the day-to-day maintenance operations of a golf course. This is a Monday – Friday, fulltime position with the requirement for some weekends and holiday shifts.
