The City of Peoria Parks and Recreation Department has an excellent opportunity for an Aquatics Maintenance Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and oversee daily maintenance of the City’s three community pools, while also providing direct support for the Department’s Facilities Services division. The Aquatics Maintenance Coordinator may oversee full-time staff.
High school graduation or equivalency.
A minimum of three (3) years of moderate previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.
A valid Arizona commercial drivers’ license is required within 6 months of hire.
Attainment of Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Chlorine Safe Handling Certifications within 6 months of hire.
A working understanding of common techniques, methods, practices, procedures, use of forms, routines, etc., of an intermediate nature.
Work requires medium physical exertion. Forces exerted are equivalent to lifting between 10 and 25 pounds. The need for physical stamina and endurance is of some significance.
