Opening in 2006, The Concession golf club is a championship, privately-owned golf facility with no houses lining the course. The course design sprawls over 500 acres flowing across a variety of landscapes, meadows, wetlands, oak hammocks and pine forests, with spectacular bunkering and exciting green contours. The 18 championship golf course was recently the host of the 2021 PGA Workday World Golf Championship and is listed by Golf Digest as # 41 in American and #6 in the state of Florida.
In 2019 The Concession also added the Gimmie, a 9 hole short course, and also the Snake acre, a one acre putting course. In 2020 Golf Magazine name the Gimmie one of the 25 best par-3 courses in the world. This exclusive Florida par-3 golf course has templates of some of the game’s most famous holes– #3 has a deep-stacked sod bunker and green similar to St. Andrews’ famous “Road Hole”; #5, the course’s signature hole, has an island green representative of #17 at TPC Sawgrass; and #9 is designed after the challenging #6 hole at California’s Riviera Country Club, which features a surprise bunker in the middle of the green. The 18-hole putting course, Snake Acre, is one of the largest putting courses in the state and is equipped with high-tech LED lighting for nighttime play.
