About Memorial Park Golf Course
Memorial Park Golf Course, home of the PGA Tour’s Cadence Bank Houston Open, was originally built in 1936. In 2019, the course went under a full renovation under the guidance of Tom Doak and Brooks Koepka. The revamped course currently boasts a new Toro 2-wire irrigation system, sand capped tees and fairways, double-decker driving range, and brand new club house and maintenance facilities. Mini-verde bermudagrass greens and 419 bermudagrass make up the turf that cover the beautiful 250 acre property. Strategic bunker placement and well-designed undulations around the greens create a challenge for even the best golfers in the world.
