Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports to the Golf Course Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent must have working knowledge on turfgrass cultivation practices, daily golf course maintenance and course setup. We are looking for a detail oriented candidate. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Oversees maintenance of turfgrass and trees on property

- Daily monitoring staff's productivity   

- Assists with daily staff scheduling

- Moisture management

- Irrigation troubleshooting and repair

- Fertilizer application and calibration

- Pesticide application  

- Assist in mixing and application of fertilizers and chemicals  

- Must be able to carryout assignments as directed by the golf course superintendent

- Continue to train and cross train staff on safety and equipment operation 

- Recording daily weather, chemical and fertilizer applications, and work hours
