The City of South Jordan is looking for maintenance workers to perform a variety of grounds maintenance related to day-to-day operations of the golf course. We are looking for individuals who enjoy being a part of the community and take pride in maintaining community spaces.
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities include:
Ability to operate large and small riding mowers, and learn mowing procedures for golf course and surrounding areas. Ability to operate specialized equipment and learn and understand all procedures for Golf Course Maintenance. Skill in controlling operations of equipment or systems, critical thinking, and talking to others to convey information effectively. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to coordinate two or more limbs, control precision, and to see details at a close range. Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, subordinates, and the public. Ability to learn and understand golf etiquette and general golf play.
The City of South Jordan owns and manages Mulligans Golf & Games, an enterprise endeavor that offers a fun variety of outdoor recreation including two 9-hole golf courses, driving range, miniature golf, foot golf, batting cages and the Caddy Shack Grill.
