The club has approximately 500 golfing members and does approximately rounds per year. The club is in a tremendous financial position with an active and supportive membership.
The established turf species are bentgrass greens and common bermudagrass fairways.
The Golf Course Superintendent will report to the GM-COO.
El Paso CC is seeking a professional agronomist - Golf Course Superintendent to become a motived, participating and flexible member of the club's executive team. Preferred skill sets include a strong agronomic resume, challenging water quality experience, professional communication abilities, innovative leadership and accomplished operating and capital budget management. Attention to detail is a priority to provide the membership with quality playing conditions. Team embracement and interaction with the membership is encouraged. With a planned $4,500,000 irrigation system upgrade and potential fairway conversion, renovation and project management experience is a plus. A minimum of a 2 -4 year degree in a turf management field is required. Southern bentgrass experience is required as EPCC is located in the Southwestern desert climate. While there is no defined skill level, the Superintendent must be able to play and understand the game of golf.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: An additional annual bonus structure is included in the benefits
