Turtle Point welcomes players of every age to our Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed 18-hole golf course. In 1961, George McBurney was elected Turtle Point’s first president and under his leadership the construction of the clubhouse, marina, golf course, and first tennis court were begun. World-renowned golf course designer Robert Trent Jones, Sr., was contacted to design the course layout. Since its grand opening 60 years ago, Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club has grown to over 600 members. The growing success of the club has afforded it the opportunity to host many prestigio
