The City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department Golf Operations Division is currently looking to hire an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent with at least one (1)-year of full time, professional-level, experience as a Golf Course Greenskeeper and two (2) years of experience as a full-time paid Grounds Maintenance Worker.    The qualified candidate will have experience maintaining, mowing, edging, fertilizing, calibrating, golf course setup and applying pesticides and herbicides to golf course greens, aprons, tees and fairways, as well as the experience in the operation of small equipment necessary for golf maintenance such as aerifiers, loaders, sweepers, core harvesters, mowers, hand tools, chainsaws, weedeaters and sod cutters.   The highly desirable
