Hummer Turfgrass Systems is seeking a Sports Turf Construction/ Renovation Superintendent to join our team. As a member of our team, you will lead natural grass sports field projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Our work radius is 2-3 hours of Lancaster, working on sports fields (municipal, high school, college/university and professional). You will lead a team completing projects at a high level of quality working with excavation and turf equipment as well as hand tools. On the job training is provided to help you grow into the role.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary $75,000-$100,000

Job Requirements:
A background in a related field such as excavating, landscaping, sports turf, golf or irrigation is required
5 years experience in a leadership role.
Equipment operation experience is also desired as this is a working superintendent position.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Leading a team and working in a team environment
Managing project schedule and materials deliveries as well as labor and equipment needs
Communicating with clients and Hummer project management team
Attention to detail and maintaining a high level of quality
