| Golf Maintenance Solutions is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for The Villages Golf and Country Club. The Country Club is a golf property located within The Villages 55 + gated community in San Jose, California. The golf course consists of an 18-hole championship golf course, a 9-hole Par-3 Course, a driving range and two additional practice areas designed by Robert Muir Graves. The Villages installed a new Rainbird IC individual sprinkler control irrigation system in 2017. Duties: The Assistant Superintendent will help drive a team environment while maintaining championship playing conditions. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent in daily scheduling and long-term planning. Responsibilities include: training/developing the crew, scouting for disease and pests, preparing/applying chemical applications, diagnosing & able to repair irrigation issues, and moisture management of all playing surfaces.
