Wellen Park Golf and Country Club is a new 18 hole championship golf course located in Venice, Florida and is currently under construction with a projected opening date in November 2022. We are currently looking for an ideal candidate to play a very important and immediate roll on our team as Spray Technician.
The Spray Technician will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to apply all pesticide and fertilizer application including spray and granular applications to the turfgrass along with ornamentals and trees.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity for advancement along with additional responsibilities from the Golf Course Superintendent to further the candidates professional career.

Knowledge, Experience and Requirements
1-3 years golf course or related field experience preferred
Knowledge of calibrating spray equipment and granular spreader applicators preferred
Have or obtain a Florida Pesticide Applicators License within 90 days of employment
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more at times to perform job duties
Walk/Stand for long durations including but not limited to eight hours
