| AIT Posting Location: Orchard Lake Country Club is in the Village of Orchard Lake, 40 minutes Northwest of Detroit. Description: OLCC opened for play originally in 1926 and was designed by architect C.H. Allison, with course renovations completed in 2012 by Keith Foster playing 7107 yards. Orchard Lake Country Club sits on 190 acres which entails 18 holes, a driving range, short game practice area, and two practice putting greens. The greens are Pure Distinction creeping bentgrass, the tees, approaches and fairways are 007 creeping bentgrass surrounded by Kentucky bluegrass rough with fescue bunker edges and native. The large club grounds also require attention from our crew to maintain the facilities such as tennis, paddleball, swimming and sailing on Orchard Lake. Responsibilities: This position requires a positive attitude, ability to be prompt, perform in a professional manner, and most importantly eager to learn. The AIT position will work closely with the assistants to plan and perform all cultural practices, also leading crew members in day-to-day operations on the golf course.
