| Job Opportunity with the Elk Grove Park District Fox Run Golf Links Assistant Superintendent (Full Time) Summary: Fox Run Golf Link is seeking highly motivated applicants with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Gold Course Superintendent in the daily management of the golf course and grounds. The applicant should have experience with course set-up, irrigation repair, fertilizer/pesticide application and calibration, disease identification and water management. Background: Fox Run Golf Links is an 18-hole municipal golf course owned and operated by the Elk Grove Park District. In 2012 and 2013 the golf course underwent an extensive $2.26 million renovation including a new irrigation system, complete bunker renovation, and improved storm water drainage systems. This year, Fox Run has just completed construction of a new clubhouse and a state of the art maintenance facility.
