Etowah Valley Golf & Resort is a 27-hole semi-private resort near Asheville, NC. The original 18 holes were designed by Edmund Ault and built in the mid-1960's and the third nine was also designed by Ault and built in the mid-1980's.
Under the supervision of the Golf Course Supt, the Asst. Supt. directs and participates in all aspects of the maintenance and repair of the golf course. He/ she also serves in the superintendent's role during his absence.

Opportunity to work with an experienced supt. that has extensive experience with both warm and cool-season turfgrasses. Additionally, the supt. has successfully completed several major renovations and a golf course construction
Potential opportunity to be involved in several major pending projects, including; bunker renovation, major drainage project and major irrigation project
Directs, motivates & trains staff on a daily basis
Assists in preparing work schedules
Supervises and participates in chemical and fertilizer applications and associated calibrations
Oversight, operation & repair of the irrigation and drainage systems
Ability to obtain a NC Pesticide Applicator's License within 90 days
