The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for all golf course maintenance operations. The Superintendent is accountable for employee safety, environmental stewardship, financial management, equipment maintenance and all agronomic practices on the golf course.
The Club At Sonterra features two 18-hole championship golf courses which offer unique settings and challenges: North and South Course(s). Designed by Bruce Devlin & Robert von Hagge (their final design together) and built in 1985, the North Course has rolling hills as far as the eye can see with beautiful 419 Bermuda fairways and Mini Verde greens. The South Course appeals to the traditional golfer; a Press Maxwell design, built in 1954, among acres upon acres of large oak trees, resurfaced with TifEagle Super Dwarf Bermuda greens and Zeon Zoysia tees in 2021.
The team itself is one that has been hand picked and work together in synergy improving experiences and conditions for the membership. Truly a dynamic team looking for the next team member to join in continuing to deliver for the membership and CBIGG.
