High Hampton is an 18-hole, private golf club located in the mountain town of Cashiers, North Carolina. The course just had its grand re-opening in May of 2021. The newly redesigned, Tom Fazio course is remarkable, including an all-new club house, grounds, and amenities.
Cashiers itself is a rapidly growing town located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, in the center of the Nantahala National Forrest. The area is an outdoor adventurer’s dream. With it’s cool temperatures and frequent rain fall, there are plenty hiking trails leading to waterfalls and rivers for all types of fishing and kayaking. Located 8 miles from Cashiers is Lake Glenville, offering 26 miles of shoreline for fishing and lake life.
A thirty-minute drive will take you down the mountain to Western Carolina University, Sylva, Brevard and Historic Dillsboro. Also, a 1-hour drive from Cashiers is Asheville, Greenville, and Clemson University. All these areas offer college festivities, shopping, restaurants, bars, breweries, and events.
