Intern
Butler National is a private 18 hole golf club located 25 miles outside Chicago. The club was built by developer Paul Butler in 1974 and became the permanent home of the Western Open until 1990. Since then, with the help of architect Tom Fazio, the club has continued to remain one of the top ranked golf courses in the country. The membership is committed to the traditions of golf and maintaining its world class reputation. Intern will work closely with the superintendent and his assistants in all aspects of course maintenance. Areas of intense training will include chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation scheduling and maintenance, scouting, tournament and daily course preparation and routine maintenance.
