The Mechanic reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent while overseeing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and repair failing equipment, keep records of parts and labor, order necessary parts, and assist with tasks on the golf course as needed.
Establish a preventative maintenance program on leased equipment fleet.
Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical failure in all maintenance equipment.
Maintain sharp reels and take pride in the quality of cut throughout the entire course.
Ensure proper cleanliness of equipment and maintenance shop.
Prioritize safety of operator equipment use.
Responsible of repairing equipment within allotted monthly budget.
Keep records of inventory and costs associated with repair and maintenance.
Club will be getting a new grinder in the winter months.
Assistant Equipment Technicians are encouraged to apply!
Must be experienced in golf course equipment repair and maintenance.
